Networks are essential: nearly everyone who has a computer uses a network since that’s what enables your computer to share files with other computers on the same network or access the Internet. But networks are tricky creatures. They’re generally convoluted to set up, but once set up, a network will often work well for a long time. But what if you lose the password for your wireless Internet connection, or something goes funky with your router?

Contact me, of course! I’ve taken a course in networking. While I don’t claim to be a professional wire-tamer, I have the tools to set up and troubleshoot home networks. Your equipment doesn’t even have to be Apple hardware – I have experience on both sides of the fence in this area.

I can also set up security on a wireless network to keep unauthorized people out – and keep it transparent to you and other legitimate users.
